Ashley Terzich & Shun Toyoda
Shun Toyoda, pharmacist, and Ashley Terzich, pharmacy tech, answered the call to service excellence. A physician called the pharmacy at Sonora Regional Medical Center late one evening for a terminally-ill hospice patient who was in desperate need for a prescription.
Shun and Ashley worked together quickly to fill the prescription that required syringes and needles for injection because the patient was unable to swallow a pain pill. The hospice staff called to thank Shun and Ashley for their prompt service in making the prescription available to the patient. “We just did our due diligence in getting the prescription filled,” Shun said.
