Carol L'Hommedieu
“It’s a privilege to be around newborns everyday,” says Carole L’Hommedieu, lab assistant and 10-year employee of Sonora Regional Medical Center.
While giving babies a heel stick as required by state law, Carole greets them by name and tells them, “Have a good life, make lots of friends, laugh, believe in yourself, and follow your dreams and your heart.” Then she bundles them back up and gives them back to their mothers, gently telling them, “God Bless You.”
