Jeri Lawler
Jeri Lawler makes an impact on people’s lives in a variety of ways. She offers care and compassion for patients at Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Project Hope van. Approximately 18-26 patients visit the van, Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Wal Mart for simple procedures such as physicals, blood pressure checks or sinus infections. Due to the changing economic times, many have recently lost their jobs and don’t have insurance or qualify for Medi-Cal.
Jeri sees a diverse group of patients from children to seniors; some make return visits or even bring her thank you cards in appreciation for her time and service. “Every time someone walks out of the van, I make a difference, one person at a time.”
