Honor the Life of a Loved One at the Medical Center’s “Celebration of Lights”

December 7, 2010
Sonora, California

The public is invited to join Sonora Regional Medical Center at its “Celebration of Lights” tree-lighting ceremony on Thursday, December 9. The ceremony is an opportunity for the Medical Center to thank its many supporters, provide an opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one or honor someone by buying one or more lights on the tree. Each person who receives a tribute will be listed on the Celebration of Lights Honor Roll at the event.

Funds raised through the Celebration of lights campaign help support outreach programs of the Medical Center, such as support groups, health classes, faith community nursing and the chaplains.

The tree-lighting ceremony and thank-you reception begins at 5 p.m. at the main entrance to the Medical Center. Refreshments will be served and local carolers Mirth and Glee will provide entertainment.

People who cannot attend the ceremony but would like to dedicate a light on the tree should contact Gail Witzlsteiner, Director of Development and Public Relations, at 209-536-5029 or witzlsGM@ah.org.
