Dinner with a Doc Invite

Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Hospice of the Sierra will hold a benefit dinner on Sunday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Banny’s at Mountain Springs, featuring guest chef Dr. Matt Personius, medical director of Hospice and Sierra Housecalls. All proceeds from the dinner will benefit Hospice patients who cannot afford their services.

“We are very excited to be able to host this event,” says Judy Myers, Hospice bereavement and volunteer coordinator. “It should be an evening filled with fun, great food and most especially time spent with friends and supporters of our program. We are grateful for the continued support of a generous community that sustains our charitible mission.”

Hospice of the Sierra treats the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients who are no longer receiving curative treatment, by providing support and comfort care in their homes or home-like settings. Hospice works with a team of health-care professionals, volunteers and the patient’s family to help the patient make the most of the time they have.

Tickets are available for $50 per person and are limited to the first 100 guests. Call Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Foundation Office at 536-5029 to purchase a ticket or for more information.
