Sonora Regional Medical Center Opening New Urgent Care Center i
Sonora Regional Medical Center will introduce its newest health service, the Angels Camp Prompt Care, on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
The public is invited to join Calaveras County business leaders and Sonora Regional Medical Center physicians, leadership and staff, at this Open House and Ribbon Cutting.
The Angels Camp Prompt Care will be the third Prompt Care service operating under the Sonora Regional Medical Center Adventist Health brand. The initial one – Indian Rock Prompt Care in East Sonora – opened in 1992 and Forest Road Prompt Care opened in 2007 in response to the closure of the county hospital in Sonora.
"We are proud of the competency we have developed with our prompt care clinics,” said Jeff Eller, CEO and President of Sonora Regional Medical Center. “We are pleased that we can extend this service into Angels Camp.”
As with the Indian Rock and Forest Road Prompt Cares, the Angels Camp Prompt Care will be staffed by physicians from the Sierra Emergency Medical Group, who also staff the emergency department at Sonora Regional Medical Center.
The Open House program will begin at 5:00. Refreshments will be provided. Please rsvp to 536-5020 if you would like to attend or have additional questions.
