Teleradiology is one of the leading advances in the provision of healthcare services in the 21st Century. It's a form of telemedicine that enables radiologists to remotely interpret radiological images from across town, or hundreds, possibly thousands, of miles away.
The teleradiology service enables Sonora Regional Medical Center to provide patients access to highly-trained radiologists 24 hours a day. This access ensures quick turnaround on diagnostic imaging tests, even in the middle of the night, allowing physicians in Sonora to more quickly diagnose and treat patients, improving the quality of care and providing better patient outcomes.
NexxRad Teleradiology Partners, accredited by The Joint Commission, is a professional teleradiology company headquartered in Long Beach, California. It serves radiology groups, hospitals, imaging centers, clinics, and others in need of high-quality radiology services across the United States. The five-minute “Today in America” television segment educates viewers on the field of teleradiology and features NexxRad Teleradiology Partners as a leader in the industry.
