Rehabilitation
Helping you get back to a productive and satisfying life is what we do best. Consider our physical and occupational therapists to be your personal rehabilitation experts. They are primed to help you with a myriad of treatments to not only improve your condition but also improve your quality of life so you can Live Well and Be Well.
When your doctor refers you for physical therapy, you will initially be evaluated by one of our skilled physical therapists. Together, we will determine goals and a treatment plan to help you achieve optimal function and get you back to your previous level of activity.
Our Physical Therapy team is experienced with spinal dysfunction, sports injuries, post surgical conditions, work-related injuries, myofascial pain syndrome, TMJ dysfunction, total joint replacement, headaches and neck pain, gait abnormalities, and balance and vestibular disorders.
Our Occupational Therapy team can help you achieve independence following an injury or disability. We'll help you improve your ability to carry out the activities of daily living and, if needed, train you to use adaptive equipment.
We specialize in the treatment of upper extremity disorders and impediments, and we can fabricate braces and splints for certain hand and wrist conditions. Our occupational therapists have advanced certification in hand therapy.
Speech-Language Pathology is another one of our areas of expertise. Our rehab department provides comprehensive speech-language therapy for patients of all ages. We treat many kinds of speech, swallowing, and memory and cognitive problems, including stuttering, prolonged hoarseness, issues related to being hard of hearing, and complications associated with oral and pharyngeal cancer or laryngectomy. We're here to give you training and confidence.
Our rehabilitation department is located in the medical center and offers a dedicated outpatient entrance for easy access.
