Hospice of the Sierra treats the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of terminal and dying patients in their homes or homelike setting. Hospice focuses on helping patients make the most of their time however long life lasts by relieving pain, making them as comfortable as possible. Hospice services focus on meeting the needs of the entire family. Including family members is an important part of Hospice’s mission.
Hospice patients receive care from a team of professionals including doctors, nurses, social workers, hospice aides, clergy and volunteers. Hospice services are available 24/7 in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties.
