Overview
Laboratory testing is essential to providing high quality patient care. The results from lab tests allow physicians to detect disease earlier, plan appropriate treatments and monitor results.
The Sonora Regional Medical Center Laboratory is a full service laboratory which uses state-of-the-art equipment to provide excellent test results. A wide variety of tests are performed on site and offers lab tests from routine lipid and cholesterol screenings to the most technologically advanced tests.
The staff at the Medical Center Laboratory is highly trained and California licensed and certified. They provide the highest quality testing service, quickly, conveniently and cost effectively.
The Medical Center's Laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission and is licensed by the State of California. The Laboratory is certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) program.
We have several locations to serve you and convenient hours to meet your needs. Lab draw services can be found at Sonora Regional Medical Center, Sonora Regional Imaging Center, Prompt Care Indian Rock, Prompt Care Angels Camp, Arnold Family Medical Clinic and Groveland Family Medical Clinic.
If fasting is required, please abstain from food or drink (water only) for 12 hours prior to testing.
We accept most major credit cards and offer a discount for same-day services, which does not include the lab draw fee.
