Overview

Pulmonary Rehab The goal of Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Pulmonary Rehabiliation program is to improve the quality of life for individuals with chronic pulmonary disease. Through a tailored exercise and education program, we help you:

• Decrease hospitalizations
• Learn breathing retraining
• Increase your understanding of the disease process
• Decrease stress/anxiety when short of breath
• Improve your physical capabilities
• Achieve the highest possible level of breathing function

By attending rehabilitation sessions you will build strength and stamina, which will help you maintain or even improve your independence.
