Rural Health Clinic
Overview
People in rural or underserved communities are often at a disadvantage when it comes to accessing health care. Thanks to Sonora Regional Medical Center’s rural health clinic, known as the Forest Road Health & Wellness Center, those who might otherwise be without access to services can obtain quality health care. Our primary purpose is to serve and care for the community’s Medi-Cal and County Medical Services Program (CMSP) clients.
In addition to the basic primary care services of family practice, pediatrics and obstetrics, the Forest Road Health & Wellness Center also provides specialized perinatal support, podiatry, dermatology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedic, urology, behavioral health, health education, surgical and dental services (Medi-Cal/CMSP).
